Ownership and use of smart TVs and streaming media players continues to grow, with these devices serving as the consumer gateway to content on the largest screen in the home. Yet, platforms and brands have differing customer bases with unique habits. This study examines streaming devices and their perception and use by owners and buyers. It also examines opportunities for smart TVs in the future and the implications for future success for device makers and service providers.
