Interpret’s Smarter Home Panel draws from over 10,000 verified smart home product owners
September 9, 2022, Los Angeles, CA – Interpret today announced its Smarter Home Panel, a consumer panel consisting of verified owners of smart home products and services. An industry first, the Smarter Home Panel enables companies to collect highly specific information about product owners of one or more of 17 smart home products/systems. Through the panel, clients can focus on narrow population segments such as age categories, types of housing, geographic locations, comfort with technology, etc.
Smarter Home Panel enables quick access for in-depth interviews, focus groups, and quantitative surveys. Combined with Interpret’s new Dallas-based User Experience (UX) testing facility, the company provides comprehensive research for product concepts, product launches, and competitive analyses, while providing the highest standards of client confidentiality and data security.
“Getting fast answers to key product concept and/or marketing questions in a safe, secure environment is critical for new products, app updates, and new pricing and messaging strategies,” said Stuart Sikes, SVP of Interpret. “Developing a panel of smart home product owners provides a cost-effective, competitive tool for industry leaders.”
Interpret’s consumer research indicates that over 50% of U.S. consumers now own at least one smart home product, including smart home security systems, Wi-Fi connected cameras, video doorbells, smart locks, smart thermostats, smart lighting, smart speakers and displays, and more – with nearly as many consumers expressing intention to purchase a smart home product within the next six months.
