South Korea Office Opening

Los Angeles, California, May 7th 2019 — Interpret, media and technology insights specialist, announced the opening of a new office in Seoul, South Korea. This move further strengthens the company’s expertise in Asian markets, and reinforces its position as a true international team with professionals on the ground in six markets across the US, Europe and Asia.

“We made our first expansion into Asia with the opening of our Shanghai, China office in 2017,” said Grant Johnson, CEO of Interpret. “This expansion into Seoul reflects growing demand from our clients both in the East and the West to better understand market-specific differences and devise smarter regional strategies.”

To commence their new Seoul presence, Interpret will expand its Asian newsletter to cover the South Korean market in more depth, including releasing monthly data and insights on PC gaming engagement and usage within South Korea’s PC Cafés.  In 2018, South Korea represented 9% of total Asia-Pacific game revenues and over 4% of total global game revenues.
