Nexon titles see upticks along with Overwatch, while Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Sudden Attack begin to fall
Note: Many titles saw considerable increases as COVID-19 restrictions loosened up in May until a second wave of the outbreak occurred during the 3rd week of May.
Overwatch trends upwards while Sudden Attack begins to fall
- Although it remained at the same ranking spot, Sudden Attack saw a major decline of 6.7%, to be closely followed by Overwatch. Overwatch continued its uptick from the previous month with a 6.2% rise this month and almost caught up to Sudden Attack with 6.34% daily average usage shares.
Major Nexon titles see upticks
- Except for Sudden Attack, Nexon titles such as FIFA Online 4, MapleStory, Dungeon Fighter, and Kart Rider all saw major increases in their daily average usage hours this month. Among them, Dungeon Fighter Online and Kart Rider had the most success with 24.8% and 17.4% consecutively. A major update with a new dungeon and a boss raid drove Dungeon Fighter Online’s rise during the third week of May.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare drops after an update
- Despite the release of an update, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare had a significant drop of 42.97% in average daily usage hours and went down to the 18th spot with 20,755 daily average usage hours. While most of the titles in the top 20 saw upticks, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was not able to join the tide.
